The weather was ideal, allowing for sunny viewing of my garden and home, while happy shoppers found great buys on unique presents. If you didn't make it this year, plan to attend next year's event, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 17th (the Saturday before Thanksgiving).

4 A Fresh Look" Receives WRAP Award for Fourth Time!
What's a WRAP Award? Each year the California Environmental Protection Agency Integrated Waste Management Board recognizes companies "for the extraordinary ways they reduce, reuse, recycle and purchase recycled products as part of their daily oper- ation". (You can visit their website at www.ciwmb.ca.gov/wrap). One of my goals is to empower my clients to create functional, comfortable and visually peaceful homes by creatively rearranging the artwork and decor they already own. In many cases, this saves hundreds of dollars in new purchases and prevents many tons of household goods from joining the waste stream. Many of the articles I have written for the Mercury and the Palo Alto Weekly focus on reusing and recycling what you have in new ways so that you don't have to buy anything new. Keep on recycling!
