1. Donate Your Old Computer

If you or your company have computer equipment you no longer need, don't throw it away---donate it to the Computer Recycling Center. They will refurbish it and give it to a needy school or non-profit organization. Call (408)327-1800, or visit their website at www.CRC.org for further information.

2. Recipe: Holly's Ginger Apples.

Holly brought this delicious dish to our Open House and I had many calls asking for the recipe. It makes a great hors d'eouvre or salad!

Ingredients:
2 to 4 apples, cored and sliced into thin sections
1 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger (skin removed)
Juice of 2 or 3 fresh limes
Sugar to taste

Directions:
Mix ginger, lime juice and sugar in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add sliced apples and toss, coating with the juice mixture. You can refrigerate the apples for several hours or serve immediately. To serve as hors d'oeuvres, artistically arrange the slices on a plate or platter. Put toothpicks in a container nearby.
