1) Invitation

You’re invited to my Arts and Crafts Sale and Open House on Saturday, November 16th from 12 to 5 pm. Please come visit my home and walk through my garden. I am an artist and will have 9 other artisans selling their jewelry, paintings, sculpture pieces, greeting cards and other treasures. This is a wonderful opportunity to pick up a special gift or something for yourself. Bring your friends! To be held at my home: 1539 Granger Way, Redwood City.

2) Fun Website to Visit

You can help save our environment and have fun shopping at this site. The RecycleStore is an online collection of recycled goods for sale to the public and to retail stores.. There are over 300 products ranging from backpacks for carrying Chihuahuas to intricately carved wooden beds. (Thanks to Elisabeth Seman for bringing this site to my attention).

3) Need Help Downsizing?

I’m a downsizing specialist. I have helped dozens of seniors move from homes they’ve lived in for up to 50 years into smaller homes or assisted living centers. I help you organize the whole process, from sorting through closets, to disposing of unwanted furnishings, to preparing the house for sale (staging), to figuring out how to fit your old furniture into the new space. I’ll even arrange your knick knacks and hang your art after you’ve moved in! I have a team of professionals to help with every aspect of this stressful transition: estate organizers to help get your papers in order, real estate agents who know your neighborhood, movers, painters, gardeners, computer hooker-uppers---anyone you need to help with downsizing. It takes longer than you think to transition into a smaller home, so call now to see how my team and I can be of service: 650-367-7370.

5) Can't Take the Class, Get the Cliff Notes!

I have written a home sale preparation and staging booklet which I share with students who attend my staging class, and with clients who hire me to stage their homes. The pamphlet includes home improvements you can make now to increase your home’s resale value later, home projects to avoid, a room by room staging checklist and how to stage a vacant home. Dozens of people have followed the steps and reaped thousands! It can be yours by sending a self-addressed, legal-sized envelope, stamped with $0.60, and your check for $5 (which already includes tax) to: A Fresh Look, 1539 Granger Way, Redwood City, CA 94061. Please remember to stamp your envelope!
