1. Quote of the Quarter

3. Feng Shui Tips for the Office
“The act of turning the places where we work into places we love can transform our own lives, and will in turn positively affect the lives of everyone around us.” - Denise Lim
“Chi” is the life force that is present in all things. Its easy circulation through your home and office is essential to your well-being. To allow the life force to come into and nourish your office:
- Position your desk so that you have a view to the door. Being startled while working can cause stress over time. If you can't move your desk to allow for a doorway view, install a mirror that gives you a view of visitors.
- Clutter is an energy drainer and stress builder. De-clutter every surface on a regular basis.
- If you want increased career success, place objects that symbolize success in your career area (the area in the middle third of the back wall as you enter the room). Symbols might include diplomas, photos of yourself with a successful person or wise mentor, or an affirmation. Any plants in this area should be healthy and beautiful.
- Comfort and safety are key! Your chair is the symbolic “throne”. Make sure it is comfortable and adjusted properly. Assure that all wires are safely stowed to avoid tripping and over exposure to electromagnetic fields.
- Nourish your senses. Add a tabletop water fountain and bring in a vase of cut flowers and replenish it weekly. Hang artwork that makes you feel good when you gaze upon it. Display a few carefully chosen and inspiring objects.

9. I Love This Product!!
Do you have a kid with tons of Lego's? Then you will love this sorting and storage box called “Box4Blox”. It's a set of three trays that stack on top of each other to form a cube. Just dump a pile of Lego's on top and they get sifted through to the corresponding sized Lego tray. For more information, visit my website: www.AFreshLook.net. I have a link set up under my “Resources” section.
