3) Feng Shui Tips for the Bedroom

Serenity and sensuality are the main requirements for the bedroom.
• If at all possible, place the bed so you can see the door when you are lying down.
• No exercise equipment or desks here! They are associated with activity and can chase serenity right out of the room!
• Too many mirrors in the bedroom can be over-stimulating and disturb your sleep. If you really need to have one in the room make sure you can't see yourself when lying down.
• Clutter is an energy drainer and stress builder. De-clutter every surface on a regular basis.
• If you want to improve your relationship, or if you're single and want to attract a partner, place one or several of the following in the relationship corner of your bedroom (the right corner as you stand in the doorway of the room): a pair of something (candlesticks, figurines); something in white or pink, such as a vase of flowers or potted plant; a photo of yourself with your beloved having a good time, a piece of artwork depicting a couple in love or enjoying each other's company or a crystal.
• Your bed is symbolic of your relationship and should be comfortable and large enough for two. Sheets should be soft, clean and in excellent condition
• Make sure your laundry basket is covered and keep a pomander or bag of lavender at the bottom of it. If you play a stereo, tune in to relaxing music, rather than news.

4) Time Management Tips

• Don't put things down, put them away.
• Avoid checking or responding to your email for the first hour of the day. Instead, do the thing you have avoided doing, or that which will reduce your anxiety.
• If you're working at your desk and you get distracted from a project, put a bright colored post-it on it, so you know what to return to when the distraction has passed.
