Before
A dreary, rarely used stair landing needed some attention. The homeowner wanted to make it more attractive, display a few family photos, and make it a pleasant place to read.
After
I removed most of the family photos and relocated them to different zones down the hall. I found the chunky mirror in another room and hung it with a few of the "antique-y" family photos. We searched through her butler's pantry for accessories to dress up the table. My client had a wonderful collection of pillows, so we added one to the comfy chair. This area now makes her very happy, and she actually looks at her magazine collection here now.
