Before
The living room of this guest cottage needed to be staged, as the homeowner wanted to sell her large property. The cottage had been used as a storage area. We needed to make this jumble of furniture and boxes look like a functioning living room.
After
The boxes were moved to a nearby garage. We found a table and bookcase that could work as end tables for the sofa. The chair was moved across the room, facing the couch, to create a conversation area. We dragged in an old chest to serve as a coffee table. Although not perfect, what was once a mishmash now looks a little like a living room. We used only what we found in the cottage and it only took 20 minutes!
